Lynn Institute to Hold Free Memory Screenings

OKLAHOMA CITY—Concerned about memory problems and the risk of Alzheimer’s disease? Lynn Institute will be providing free, confidential memory screenings on November 18th as part of National Memory Screening Day. Screenings take five to ten minutes and consist of a series of questions and tasks. The screenings can help determine the likelihood of developing Alzheimer’s in participants.

Lynn Institute will hold the screenings from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3555 NW 58th St. Suite 900 Oklahoma City, Okla, 73112, and will also offer educational materials and answer any questions you may have about Alzheimer’s.

Staci Allen, Clinical Research Coordinator for Lynn Institute, is hopeful about the screening day and it’s potential.

“Screenings such as this can be the key to detecting Alzheimer’s at an early stage, which can make a huge difference in treatments and planning for the future.”

The Community Memory Screenings initiative is part of Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of memory concerns and educate the public about the importance of early Alzheimer’s detection.
